Hall 8th Grade Football Results at Joshua Nichols

B Team defeated Joshua Nichols 18-14

Xavier Craven led the attack rushing for almost 200 yards and scoring 2 touchdowns, while also having a 93 yard touchdown called back for a penalty. Gabriel Nuncio also scored, while Alex Richardson and Shane Myers added fumble recoveries. Credit to the defense for stopping Joshua inside their own 20 late in the fourth quarter to preserve the win.

A Team defeated Joshua Nichols 21-8

The A team had an unfortunate start giving up an interception deep in their own territory to start the game and leading to the Owls only score. The stout Roo defense made sure that was the only time the Owls even came close again. The Roo defense recorded a safety, multiple sacks and stops behind the line as it shut down Joshua’s passing attack. The Roo offense chose the ground attack as it grinded out multiple first downs as Bradley Simmons scored 2 touchdowns and Colten McClure chipped in another along with a two point conversion.


7th A
The Hall 7th A Roos beat Joshua Nichols by a score of 30-6. Anthony Narez got the scoring started by taking a Slade Mathis pass 5 yds for the TD. Dash Lindsey ran in the 2 pt conversion. Lindsay would go on and score the next 3 TDs via a 70 yd kickoff return, 52 yd run, and a 48 yd run. Mathis completed 2 pt passes to Bryant Davis and Mason Richardson. The Roos record is now 5-1 on the season.
