Summary:
The Kangaroos won convincingly against Chisholm Trail 41-10 to wrap up the regular season and take the Roos to 5-5 on the year. The Roos will take on VR Eaton on December 11th at 7pm. Weatherford will now make the playoffs for the third year in a row.

The Kangaroos offense got started early behind their best player and Baylor commit Cisco Caston running the ball for all of the 50 yards it took to score the first touchdown of the game. All four of runs by Caston were QB keep plays and ended with a seven-yard run waltzing into the end zone untouched.

The Kangaroo defense got started with a pass break up from Keenan Miles. Following that there was a big play from Lane Malone to put Chisholm Trail in a 3rd and long, and on third down Ryan Clark had a big hit on the Ranger QB and force a punt.

After a quick turnover and the defense deep in their own territory the Roos got a spark from Trey Rucker by making a tackle for loss to force a third down. On that third down Tanner Matlock broke up a pass to force a field goal.

Following the field goal by the Rangers the Roos got back to doing what they do best, run the ball. Dez Forrest and Brayden Bork did the damage driving the ball inside of the Rangers 20. On 4th and four the Roos gave the ball to Dez and he got the first down thanks to the blocking up front from Kurt Hatch, Ethan Woodruff, David Curtis, Colt Miller, and Gary O’Bannon. The Roos also had a big throw from Kaden Kerbow to Hayden Hansen to get the ball down to the two-yard line. From there the offensive line took over and Hayden Hansen scored on a QB sneak from one yard out.

The next series saw the defense force a 3rd and long again for the Rangers and this time the Roo Defense got the turnover they needed with an interception by Caston. Caston didn’t just intercept it but he also took it 42 yards for a touchdown.

Chisholm Trail drove the ball down inside of Roo territory with their next possession until the defense got a big sack from Matlock to force a 4th and 12 and force a punt. The punt had the offense pinned inside their own ten. Kerbow scrambled for a big first down and then on the following play he threw a 47-yard strike to RJ Smiley. The pair connected again on a 16-yard strike to get the ball inside the red zone. The Roos finished the drive with a two-yard touchdown run by Dez Forrest.

The Roo defense came up with a big fourth down stop to start the second half. Riley Wrinkle and Lane Malone made a tackle for a loss on 4th and 1 for the Rangers and force the turnover. With the short field the Roos took advantage and scored on a four-yard touchdown run by Brayden Bork.

After another quick stop by the Roo defense forced another punt and the Roo offense went right back to work on the ground with Bork doing most of the damage. The drive also saw some throws and catches from Kerbow to Seth Robertson and Ty Lindsey. The drive was finished with a play action pass from Kerbow to Hayden Hansen for 12 yards and a touchdown, making it 41-3 Roos.
