The Lady Roos took on Trinity last night in a home district game, coming away with a 5-1 win to improve their record to 16-0-1 overall and 5-0 in district play. Bella Garcia got the scoring started with a solo home run in the first, and drove in a total of 3 runs with a double and a single later in the game. Addie Tidwell contributed a double and an RBI, with Morgan Skold, Landry Fonseca, Peyton Contreras, Kaylee Embrey, and Hannah Reed also picking up hits. Lauren Belles pitched a complete game for the victory, allowing only 4 hits while striking out 10. The Lady Roos will return to action Friday at L.D. Bell at 7 pm and will have 2 home games next week, Tuesday vs Haltom at 7 pm and Thursday vs North Crowley at 6 pm.
