The Lady Roos came out strong against OD Wyatt Friday with 19 first quarter points and never looked back. Wyatt tied the game two different times during the next three quarters but the Lady Roos never gave up the lead. Late in the fourth quarter Wyatt tied the score at 39 and that is when Cheyenne Pinkerton fed the ball to Abi Arwood in the post for a quick bucket. The Lady Roos closed the game on a 15-5 run to finish off the Chaparrals.

The victory is Coach Jeff Guice's first at Weatherford; he has over 500 prior to this season. Pinkerton led the Lady Roos with 17 including three three pointers. Arwood had 15 on the day, including eight in the third quarter alone.
