The JV Roos opened up Senior Night with a goal from Ryan Cabrerra with 20 seconds left to tie Boswell 1-1.
It was a beautiful Senior night and all 10 seniors were recognized before the game with their parents on the new scoreboard. Mr. Tarrant and his media class did an outstanding job with the video during the presentation. After a 0-0 half the Roos pounded the net in the second 40 minutes but came up empty. They also held Boswell from scoring with some great defensive play. Freshman Juan Perez and Senior Landon Boyd combined for the shutout. Then it came down to the Penalty Kick Shootout. The Roos made all 5 Penalty kicks to win 5-4 and pick up their third district win. Penalty kicks were made by Tyler Partain, Sammy Delgado, Matias Villalobos, Ethan Mauldin and Walk off Game winner by Josh Gomez. Way to go Roos! Whata a Senior night!
