The Kangaroo baseball team moved to 3-0 with a 2-0 win over the El Dorado Aztecs in game 1 of the Midland Tournament of Champions on Thursday night. Ty Sansom pitched a complete game shutout, scattering 7 hits and striking out 4. The offense was led by Drew Ortiz with a triple and 1 RBI, Carter Norris added a hit and a run. Jake Williams stole 2 bases and scored a run. Kannon Kemp and Hector Flores also had hits for the Roos. The Roos will be back in action tomorrow in a doubleheader vs state ranked El Paso Americas High School and Canyon Randall High School.
