The Kangaroo Baseball team defeated the Fossil Ridge Panthers last night 11-5 to bring their record to 6-1-1 on the season. Colton McClure got the win on the mound pitching 5 innings, allowing 0 earned runs on just 3 hits while striking out 10 Panthers. Chase Akins pitched the 6th inning striking out 3 and Tanner Mullins pitched the 7th striking out 2. McClure led the offense going 2 for 3 with a triple and a single, 2 RBI’s and 2 runs scored. Jake Williams and Juan Mascorro each had a double, while Trace Holcomb, Omar Juarez, and Trent Rogers each had a single. The Roos will be back in action Thursday when they take on Mansfield Lake Ridge and Aledo in the Drew Medford Memorial Tournament.
