The Boys Golf Team charged a head from 6th place after the first day, to 3rd place and missing to go to regionals by 1 stroke. The two day total for Weatherford 687 and second place Chisholm Trail 686. Holt Akins qualified for regionals as a medalist, winning a playoff against Trinity’s number one golfer. The team consisted of Hagen Mayfield, Holt Akins, Bryndon Haile, Jesse Wareham, Logan McMillin, Zach VanHorn, Scotty Hall, and Conner McClelland. 1st Team all-district golfers are Hagen Mayfield, Holt Akins, and Bryndon Haile. Jesse Wareham qualified as 2nd Team all-district. If you happen to see these young men tell them an amazing job.
