The Kangaroo Baseball Team are District 3-6A Champions for the 1st time since 2016. The Roos clinched the title with a solid 6-2 victory over the North Crowley Panthers and a Boswell loss to Paschal on Friday Night. The Roos were led by strong pitching by Kannon Kemp going 6 strong innings allowing 2 Runs on 1 hit while striking out 11 Panthers and Grady Moore who pitched the 7th inning striking out 3. Dayton Tockey went 3 for 3 at the plate and scored 3 runs, Trace Holcomb hit a 2 run Home Run in the 1st inning, Omar Juarez hit a double to drive in a run, and Hector Flores had a single and an RBI to lead the offense for the Roos. The win brings the overall record to 20-5 and the district record to 11-1. The Roos will take on Arlington Heights in a Non-district matchup at Heights on Saturday before taking on Chisholm Trail for Senior Night on Tuesday. Please come out and support these great young men.
