Your Running Roos traveled to Bi-Centennial Park in Crowley this morning and represented WHS superbly!
For the second week in a row Rayla Castillo ran away from the competition winning 1st place and Cheyanne Gorman finished right behind her placing 3rd. In the varsity boy's race Kellen Jones took the lead as soon as the gun went off and never looked back finishing in 1st place! Riley Starling and Kris Martinez finished in the top 10 as well.

The girls JV top 10 standouts were Kaylee Rust and Stella Adams.

The boys JV dominated winning 1st place with the following 4 runners placing in the top 10:
Daniel Brown, Rafael Ordonez, Tristyn Allison, and Diego Orduna.

Next week we face perennial national Southlake Carroll at the Southlake Invitational.
