The Freshmen White team started hot and ended fast against the Burleson Elks Thursday night winning by a score of 36-0. With the win the Roos improved to 2-1 on the season heading into district this week.

The Roos were led by Braden Lara who rushed for over 100 yards and had four catches for 46 yards, a touchdown, and a two-point conversion. Jett Vindiola also was a standout with 25 yards rushing, four catches for 34 yards, four tackles on defense (one for loss), and an interception. Quarterback Bryant Davis was 10/13 for 88 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran the ball ten times for 50 yards and two scores.

The Roos will be on the road next Thursday to begin district at Crowley.
