Weatherford Kangaroos stole the lead late and defeated Trinity Trojans 2023 Varsity 8-2 on Wednesday. With one out in the bottom of the sixth Omar Juarez singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Weatherford Kangaroos secured the victory thanks to six runs in the sixth inning. Weatherford Kangaroos offense in the inning was led by Juarez, Kannon Kemp, Colton McClure, Trent Rogers, and Carter Norris, all driving in runs in the inning.

Weatherford Kangaroos opened up scoring in the first inning. Weatherford Kangaroos scored one run when Wyatt Perdue singled.

In the top of the third inning, Trinity Trojans 2023 Varsity tied things up at one when Drake Pineda singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
