Your Roo and Lady Roo cross country teams competed in the Burleson Elk Run on Friday and represented Roo Nation in exceptional fashion. The morning started off with your Lady Roos finishing 1st in the 5A-6A Varsity division. Rayla castillo, Remi Boone, and Makayla Kopacz all finished in the top 10. Cheyanne Gorman and CJ Madrid finished out the point earners for the Lady Roos .
The boys had a great day as well, finishing 6th out of 20 teams. Josh Gal and Rafael Ordonez were the team leaders across the finish line.
The girls JV placed 4th with Paige Blake and Mia Saldivar both placing top 10 out of 150 runners. The boys JV placed 3rd out of 24 teams led by Tug Scott. He placed 4th out of 284 runners!

Our varsity runners will represent Weatherford High School next Friday in the Galveston Ball High School Beach Run.
