The Lady Roo Basketball team improved to 2-1 on the season with a victory over Abilene High. The Lady Roos were led by Kennedy Jarrett who had four steals and set the tempo defensively. Weatherford had the lead for a majority of the game before being tied up with less than three minutes to play in the game. That is when sophomore Jada Martin hit a three and ended up being the game winner.
