Joe Kostiha
Joe Kostiha currently serves as the Assistant Athletic
Director at Weatherford ISD in Weatherford, TX.
Prior to Weatherford Coach Kostiha was an Athletic Director, Head
Football Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and Special Teams Coordinator. Throughout his career he’s been at
Bridgeport, Alvarado, Gordon, and Ennis High School. Coach Kostiha graduated from Gordon High
School in Gordon, TX. He was one of 18
students to graduate that year and played football, basketball, baseball, and
track. He was a part of the 1996 state
champion football team. After high
school he went to Beloit College in Beloit, Wisconsin where he was a four-year
starter in football and threw the javelin in track. In 2018 he was named to the Beloit College Hall of Honor. He has been married to Andrea for 12 years and
they have four children, Nolan (10), Nellie Jean (7), June (4), and Jimmer (3).
