ROOS come up big with Big District win over Haltom

The Roo Tennis team moved to 3-1 in District play as they hosted the Haltom Buffaloes and winning 13-6. The matches started out with dominate Doubles play as the Roos took a 5-2 lead. Moving into the singles portion of the match the Roos needed to win 5 matches and instead came away winning 9 of the 12 matchups. The Roos had to fight through some adversity and even saw some young athletes step up after needing to replace a few regulars and these young athletes really helped seal the deal. We are so proud of these athletes and as a team perspective we all felt like this was one of the biggest matches of the year to date knowing that Haltom was a team we needed to beat to really have a chance at defending our District title. We will travel to play North Crowley next week looking to move one step closer to clinching a playoff spot and inching closer to that district title as well. The JV Roos will be traveling Thursday to take on Haltom as we look for a sweep on the week.
